Discover warm-up and cool-down exercises that introduce you to the principles of Tai Chi, as well as the movements from Dr. Paul Lam's Sun Style set, also known as Tai Chi for Arthritis (refer to the YouTube video mentioned). This is an excellent entry point into the world of Tai Chi, appropriate for individuals of all ages. The program is recognized by the Arthritis Foundation and the Centers for Disease Control for its benefits in preventing falls.
The exercises are designed to be low-impact, slow, and fluid, which helps to maintain joint mobility. As you advance, you'll have the chance to explore additional Tai Chi for Health Forms, including Tai Chi for Rehabilitation and Tai Chi for Energy, among others.
