From the Ground Up — Building Strength, Stability & Flow
Join me for an intimate, small-group Tai Chi experience in a peaceful private lakeside setting.
These workshops are designed to help you better understand your body—how it moves, supports, and connects—through gentle, guided Tai Chi and functional movement.

🌿 Workshop 2 — Knees → Hips (Kua)
🌊 Workshop 3 — Hips → Spine
🌬️ Workshop 4 — Spine → Shoulders
🌸 Workshop 5 — Shoulders → Neck & Hands

Each year, this event brings our community together in such a meaningful way - and this will be our 11th year hosting right here in Clermont. What makes it even more powerful is that we are part of a global movement, with millions of people practicing Tai Chi and Qigong across the world on the same day, at the same time.
One World. One Breath.
This year, you’ll have the opportunity to experience a variety of Tai Chi and Qigong styles through follow-along mini-classes and demonstrations led by Tai Chi Clermont and others from Central Florida. It’s a wonderful way to explore different approaches and simply enjoy moving together.
We are honored to welcome Grandmaster Glenn C. Wilson, a 5-time world champion with decades of experience, and returning guest JM Han, whose teaching brings both depth and accessibility. Along with our Tai Chi Clermont instructors, it will be a truly special morning.
This is a free, all-levels event, so please feel free to invite friends and family - everyone is welcome.
The event also takes place alongside the City of Clermont’s Earth Day Celebration, so you can enjoy the lakefront, visit the booths, and spend time in nature before or after our practice.
I’ve included a short countdown video below so you can feel the energy from years past:

I hope to see you there as we move, breathe, and connect.
With gratitude, Sifu Sonya
